While the male Avengers were occupied attempting to fight Thanos' forces, Captain Marvel led her fellow women into battle against the Mad Titan himself. It was all set to be a great moment of women's empowerment against an overwhelming foe... that is, until Thanos raised his infinity gauntlet and activated the reality stone. In a red flash, all seven women lay before Thanos, transformed into various strange shapes.
"A brave effort, my children," Thanos spoke to his defeated foes, "but it makes no difference. With Infinite Power, I shall always be supreme." Thanos conjured a throne using his gauntlet and sat in it, a grim smile upon his face.
