Pleasure Island was now under the control of a woman, the former coachman having given in to the curse a few years earlier (how ironic). This woman was a former visitor to the island. She had almost become a donkey but she understood that if she wanted to keep her body and her spirit she had to nourish the curse of the island with other girls and women of all ages.
At first she didn't like seeing her poor girls become donkeys. But the more time passed, the more she started to like it.
Now it is she who travels personally to check the condition of her new slaves. She has a preference for older women. According to her, they make better reproductive jennies than younger girls do. She also likes chubby women, who are more resistant to processing and more robust in the salt mines.
What she doesn't know is that sooner or later, she too will end up being overtaken by the curse...
One day, she will regret everything she did, and she will join the other donkeys pushing carts.
