Emmie and three other female fashion designers had been invited to Pal Park to redesign the outfits of the park's female mascots Katie Kola, Dreamy Duck, Rayray Racoon and Paula Puppy. The designers were taken behind the stage by the owner of the park to do their redesigns of the mascots, leading them through a large door and into a corridor. On the left side of the corridor were four doors, and on the right, there was one door. Apparently the owner had decided to make this entertaining by turning it into a bit of a contest. He gestured to the left and explained that each designer would be in their own studio to redesign one character each. He then pointed to the door on the right and told the women that all the fabrics needed for the new outfits were behind that door. Once each fashion designer had finished their mascots they would bring them into the corridor where they would be led out through the giant doors behind them and be introduced to the park.
After Emmie had been led to her studio, she spent an extremely long time on paper designing the new outfit for Paula Puppy, and once Emmie had finished her design, she looked up and was shocked at how much time she had spent on her drawing. She dashed out the door for her supplied, but to her shock, Emmie saw that the other three women had already partially finished their designs! Dreamy Duck, Kate Kola and Rayray Racoon already had new hairstyles and tops, though as Emmie ran past the mascots she thought it was odd how familiar they all looked. Had each designer really fashioned the mascots after themselves?
But Emmie was too busy to think about it as she ran into the fabric room, only moments later bursting out of it carrying rolls of fabric for her mascot outfit. She heard an odd squeaking noise as she jogged past the mascots, deciding to drown it out by humming the park's theme song, which had somehow gotten stuck in her head. If Emmie had looked down past the fabrics she was carrying, she would have realized that the squeaking was coming from her feet, which had turned into large, blue, stuffed-toy dog legs.
She wouldn't worry about it for long, however, as the theme park music in Emmies’ head would soon become so loud it would drown out every other thought in her head. Once that happened, Emmie would walk out and join the other three fashion designers in the corridor as the new Paula Puppy.
