Recently, a spate of emergency patients had been brought into the Wolfe Clinic, all suffering from blood loss and a pair of tell-tale bite marks. Though the police blamed the attacks on some kind of deranged vampire fetishist, Maria O'Reilly, one of the clinic's receptionists, knew full well from personal experience that monsters were all too real, having learned that during the incident where she met her partner (and the clinic's head nurse) Holly Wolfe. Maria soon worked out the pattern of when victims came in and, in turn, when the attacker would strike next.
And so, when the night came, Maria armed herself with both a wooden stake and a test tube of the special formula that she and Holly used to transform themselves into their bigger and stronger alter-egos. Usually they just used their alter-egos for sexy fun, occasionally getting revenge on someone who had wronged them. Tonight, however, Maria would be using her alter-ego to hunt a monster. As soon as the sun had set, Maria started patrolling the back streets around both the Wolfe Clinic and her former place of work: the Red Velvet burlesque club. Just as Maria was about to call it a night, she heard a hissing noise from behind her. She had finally found what she was looking for, though she had been slightly off in her assumptions about what had been attacking people. It wasn't a vampire... but a were-bat! And, as evidenced by her teeth elongating into huge, sharp fangs, her hands developing into dangerous-looking claws, and the wings that were developing under her outfit, she clearly intended to feed on Maria tonight.
Without wasting any time, Maria gulped down the formula. In seconds, she felt it coursing through her body, her skin beginning to tingle warmly. Then, the change kicked in. It started in her chest, with her normally-modest breasts going up three cup sizes in a matter of seconds, before the changes began spreading to her entire body, causing her unassuming form to rapidly grow taller and more athletic, tearing her outfit apart. The formula also began working its magic on her mind, causing her fears of the were-bat to rapidly melt away, replaced by a determination to prevent it from hurting anybody else. And, at the back of her mind, she also began dreaming of what she could do to Holly in the bedroom that night.
Her transformation complete, Maria Hyde took the stake out of her ruined clothes and grabbed hold of the were-bat by the neck, ensuring that it wouldn't have the chance to escape and turn anybody else into a meal. Maria had no idea how many monsters were truly stalking the streets of Los Angeles... but after tonight, there would at least be one less to worry about!
