“Lois?”
“Jimmy?!”
Clark and Kara were both stunned at the sight in front of them. Their respective partners were now two gorillas, sitting in a pile of their destroyed clothes. The two looked at their shocked companions with a look that spelled out that there wasn’t a thought going through their heads.
Earlier that day, Clark and Kara had been called away to deal with a bank robbery (one committed by gorillas, no less) while Lois had gotten an anonymous tip about some shady stuff on the other side of Metropolis. Jimmy had tagged along due to being bored and to have some new posts on Flamebird.
That was the last they heard of them.
Clark and Kara flew all around the city, trying to find their human companions, but sadly came up fruitless. That was until they heard their screams ringing in their super hearing ears. Without a moment of hesitation, the two Kryptonians took flight and soon arrived at where Lois and Jimmy were captured: a cave in one of the various mountain ranges far beyond Metropolis.
“What happened to you guys?” Clark asked. Before anything could happen, the two Supes were hit by a beam, causing the two heroes to fall to their knees.
“What's, urr, happening?!” Kara grunted, gritting her teeth as they began to sharpen. Grodd laughed, watching the heroes fall and slowly mold into a more perfect form.
“Don’t worry,” he said, his grin growing as he watched. The two former humans seemed to be similarly pleased, given their hooting and chest beating.
“Y-oook won’t get ook away with ook OOK!” Clark tried to say, though his new vocal chords made it challenging. Nor was he helped by his biceps quadrupling and breaking apart his S.
As the two heroes’ transformation finished, Grodd laughed. ‘If it was this easy to turn these two, then the rest is gonna be a cakewalk.’
