Albedo and Shalltear retrieved a powerful magic item for their precious Lord Ains.
As usual, they got into a heated argument and accidentally activated the item. Using their insults as a catalyst, the artifact transformed the pair into beasts.
Perhaps this will teach them a lesson about working together in the future. That is, if Lord Ains decides to restore them any time soon!
