After the incident at the bus stop, a lone photo made its way into a group chat for a circle of friends, sent by one of the friends who happened upon the scene and was affected herself.
Unknown to the trio of friends waiting on their late friend, whatever was happening was transmissible through photos and videos if an affected person was in the shot.
The three friends opened the image and stared in confusion, failing to realize that they had exposed themselves. Their bodies grew bigger, hair growing all over, clothes ripping as their faces and feet changed to those of a gorilla. The scared worker behind the counter stared, not noticing her own feet bursting forth from her shoes as she, like the other women in the vicinity, was becoming just like them.
